Dallas Cowboys fans and North Texans wanting to catch a glimpse of Texas Stadium's implosion at dawn April 11 should heed two pieces of advice: Arrive early and prepare to pay for parking.

Irving officials will charge $25 per car for parking in the stadium's red lot the day of the implosion. That will be the only public place to view the stadium's implosion. Only regular passenger vehicles (not RVs or buses) will be admitted. Tickets won't be available ahead of time.

All proceeds will be given to local charities. Officials estimate that the lot will hold about 5,000 cars. Once it's full, hopeful spectators will be out of luck. Officials are still working out details on when they're going to open the lot, but it will probably be hours before the big event.
